Hello Roadies! I have two clean and simple cards to share today. I wanted to keep it simple and stick to using only one stamp set for both cards. For today’s projects I decided to use Shelfish. This newish set has quickly become one of my all time favorites!
For the first card I stamped a background using the lovely open book image in blue ink. I filled in the gaps by cutting apart the Shelf Love Club sentiment and stamping it on the book spines using pink ink. I die cut some tags in vellum and one using patterned paper that matched my ink choices. I stamped my sentiment on the patterned paper and added some twine to both tags. I adhered the vellum tag flat then popped up the sentiment tag using foam tape. Some clear sequins finish off this design.
For the next card I made a subtle background by stamping the open book image using some light blue ink onto light blue cardstock cut to 4″ x 5.25″. I adhered this onto a white A2 sized card base. Next I stamped the shelf with books onto white card stock and colored it in using alcohol markers. I cut apart the Love Your Shelf sentiment and stamped each word on the spine of the books. I fussy cut it out and then used a black marker to go over the edges for a more finished look. I cut a small banner using vellum and popped up the shelf using foam onto the vellum. I added some clear sequins to finish it off.
I hope you like these CAS cards using Shelfish. If you’d like to pick up this set or any of the many other awesome Ink Road sets, you can use Lorena10 on your orders for a discount. 😉 See ya next time, Roadies! –Lorena
