Hi friends! It’s Mary and I’m back with a quick project using the “Happy Holla Days” Stamp set. And since there are only 5 days left until Christmas I thought I would be a good friend and help you out on a last minute gift idea for the Coffee/Tea/Book lover in your life. I will be giving these to my children’s school teachers with a Starbucks gift card in them and then I have a few moms I met through soccer this year that I would love to do something special for but don’t know well enough yet to know what they would really like. These are great little hand-made gifts to show you care. And BONUS: Most of the items I used can be found at the dollar tree…but for today’s purposes it will be now known as the “Dolla Tree”.
I made this cute little corner bookmark using this tutorial from the YouTubes. There are several different ways you can make a corner bookmark so just choose one that looks simple enough for you. This is a quick project remember? There’s no need to reinvent the wheel…find something that’s already been done and make it your own…that’s my motto.
Santa sits inside this corrugated cardstock wallet I made to house the gift card. I literally folded the cardstock around the gift card and eye-balled where it should be folded and trimmed. Easy peasy. Of course the inside needs to be dressed up as well. I thought the “Hope you love this card because it’s also your gift” sentiment made the most sense…since I’ll be gifting a gift card. and I added a piece of Velcro that you can also pick up and the Dolla Tree while you’re collecting your supplies.
And then I decorated the front of the gift card wallet with a piece of black and white striped ribbon and a white tag from the Dolla Tree and stamped on top with black Stazon ink.
The Dolla Tree also sells sheets of glitter cardstock you can use for your Gift Card Wallets if you prefer a more glam look.
Really this project took me minimal time and I think the classic look plus the wittiness of the sentiments are the perfect gift from me.

Happy Holla Days!
