Hello Roadies! Lorena here with a flashback to the 90’s using the Whatever stamp set. As soon as this set came out I knew I HAD to have it!! This movie was definitely a favorite growing up and still is! This set is so versatile. I love that its packed with quotes and images making the possibilities endless! For todays card I was inspired by the famous yellow plaid outfit.

I knew I wanted to create a stamped background using black and white with a yellow backdrop to match her outfit. I decided to use the perfume bottle, the hanger, and the cell phone to create my background.

I started off by stamping “you’re a virgin who can’t drive” using black ink 5 times on my background. I wanted to make sure the sentiment was readable.

Next I stamped the cell phone using the same black ink, making sure I was leaving space for the perfume bottle and hanger.

I prepped my card panel with an anti-static powder then I stamped the perfume bottle and hanger using versa mark ink and covered it with white embossing powder and heat set. I trimmed my panel down 1/8″ on each side and adhered it onto a black A4 card base.

I started to plan the focal point of the card here. I die cut a small frame out of white card stock to use as a backdrop for her plaid outfit and my sentiment.

I did some light ink blending starting in the center of my die cut frame and blended out using yellow ink. Next I colored the plaid outfit then fussy cut it out.

I glued down my die cut frame flat onto my card panel using liquid adhesive. I used foam squares for the outfit and the sentiment. I finished off the card by adding some sunshine with the IR flat gems in
Crystal Sunshine.

To finish off the inside of the card I did some ink blending using the same ink I used on my frame. I went across the top half of a piece of white card stock cut to 5.25′ x 4″. Next I stamped the perfume, pen, cell phone, and hanger using the same yellow ink. I finished it off by stamping “OMG, I’M TOTALLY BUGGIN’!” in the center of my ink blending using black ink.

And that finishes up this card! I think it would be a funny “I’m sorry” card to send to a friend. I hope you all like it! Have an awesome day roadies! -LORENA
