Hello! And welcome back to another, wonderful crafty day here on the Ink Road. I’m here today with a really fun card featuring the Mari Party stamp set. Before I jump in, if you haven’t already, join the conversation over on Facebook. There’s loads of inspiration, and a lot of fun going on over there.
This card came together so beautifully, it was great! I used the balloons stamp, from the Mari Party Set. I didn’t even have to mask anything, just turned the stamp here and there, and heat embossed it with gold. There’s some areas where it overlapped, but it’s hardly noticeable.
I adhered the black panel down with foam tape. Then, realized last second I forgot to adhere the sentiment to the black panel. My Sentiment came from the Nurse sentiment set. It was the perfect sentiment for a blank card. So, I heat embossed it on vellum, then wrapped it around the white panel. It still looks pretty good.
I previously had a flower cut out of the Basics: Flower 1 set, so I used that to ground my Nurse. My nurse, I had previously colored back around Halloween. She is Inked. Emma. I gave her bright eyes, and eyebrows. I decorated her scrubs and added shimmer to her accessories.
I am a little bit obsessed with this card. I love the color scheme, the pop of color with the green flower, and just the overall feel and look of it! It would make a really cute birthday card, or a congratulatory card…really an any-occasion card.
