Hi everyone, Angela here. Today’s project I’m about to show you is featuring three of my best-loved Ink Road stamp sets, Bella Flora, Boymom and Thank You Stamp, all in one card! It’s a big one, I mean it’s a card with plenty of space to write in. In fact, the front of the card has a pocket that holds a note card and a tag where I can write a private message or even a letter, why not?!
My starting point in creating the card was just this pocket. I folded this beautiful strip of double sided paper, that has two shades of purple, one bright and one pale. I sewed it along the sides with my sewing machine. I stamped the boy mom title, let’s call it title, and embellished the pocket with two flowers from Bella Flora Stamps. One bouquet is stamped on white yardstick and the other one on vellum. For the pocket, I created a note card with a punch. I stamped at the top the note #momlife, from Boymom Stamp and I put it inside the pocket. I also created a tag and, for an extra touch of color, I added a gold hole reinforcement and a mint twine. Last, I adhere the pocket on a piece of cardstock, this time a third shade of purple and then on a white card base.
I embellished also the inside of the card. First I sewed a heart shaped paper doily, then I adhered another bouquet from Bella Flora Stamps on the right side of the heart.
For the sentiment i went for one of the phrases from Thank You Stamps, So grateful and For your help, embellished with two stamped bow in mint, always from the same stamp set. I like so much the font of So Grateful, is really cool!. As a finishing touch, I added some rolled thread and a few black splatters and voilà, the card is done!
I hope you liked my card and the idea of extra space in it, I hope you will give it a try. Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!
