Hello, hello! Samantha Ziegenfuss here with a beautiful shaker card I created using the Holly Pixels Art Supplies Background stamp, the Holly Pixels Art Supplies stamp set, and the I Arted stamp set. That’s a whole lotta art!
To begin I stamped the Holly Pixels Art Supplies Background stamp to a white card base using sticky embossing ink and heat setting with gold embossing powder. Then I broke out my watercolors and created a shimmery, blended pink background. I glued it to a white card base and added a border of foam tape.
I filled the well created by the foam tape with clear sequins, teal sequins, and clear acrylic beads.
Next I stamped the paint brush and paint tube from the Holly Pixels Art Supplies set to white cardstock using sticky embossing ink and heat set them with gold embossing powder. I colored them in and fussy cut them out.
After that I stamped the ‘makers gonna make’ sentiment from the I Arted set to a scrap of gold foil paper using black pigment ink. I heat set it with clear embossing powder and trimmed it down into a rectangle.
I cut a frame for my shaker card, used an embossing folder to add some texture, and added acetate to the back. I adhered the paint brush, paint, and sentiment to the frame and acetate. I also added a bit of white glitter paper behind the sentiment on the other side of the acetate.
I removed the backing from my foam tape, attached the frame and voila! A beautiful art supplies shaker card!
