Hello Roadies! Today I have a baby card made with the super adorable Baby On Board stamp set. This set is so adorable and fun to color. I know a couple of family members who are expecting so I thought I’d make a fun baby card.
To start I ink blended a dark greenish galaxy using distress inks and oxides. I added some water splatter to my ink blending. Next I die cut out a heart.
I stamped the little green baby using alcohol marker friendly ink and colored him in using my Spectrum Noir markers. Once my coloring was done, I fussy cut him out. I cut right up to the stamped line then went over the edges with a black marker.
For the background of my card I kept it simple by using some green cardstock matted onto black cardstock. I added some texture by using a polka dot embossing folder on the green paper.
I stamped the sentiment “BABY ON BOARD” using green ink. I trimmed my sentiment down and matted it with black cardstock.
Put it all together! I glued the green embossed panel flat onto a white A2 sized card base. Next I glued down the ink blended heart on the right side of my card. I added foam tape to the baby and added him in the center of the heart. I glued my sentiment flat on the bottom left of my card.
For embellishments I thought it would be super adorable to add a bow on the carrier. I added a gold Shelley Bow in the center and the latest freebie sequins from an Ink Road order. I hope you liked today’s card! See ya next time! -Lorena
