Hello, hello. Samantha Ziegenfuss here with a fun card to share with you that I created using the Mari Party stamp set. I love all of the different and unique ways in which this set can be used and it’s become the one that I reach for most often when I need to make a birthday card.
To begin I created an ink blended cloud background directly onto a white A2 sized card base using a stencil. I added gold paint splatters over it and when they were dry I stamped the bold font “happy birthday” sentiment in black pigment ink to the bottom of the card; heat setting it with clear embossing powder.
Next I stamped the balloons onto navy blue cardstock and heat set them with gold embossing powder. Then I fussy cut them out.
I took some gold thread and applied it to the back of the balloons with strong double sided tape. I covered the back of the balloons with foam dots.
I applied the balloons to the card front and tied a small knot to the balloon strings with a teeny tiny glue dot securing it to the card. I glued the threads down so they weren’t flying around all crazy.
Very fun card to make and I hope that you will like it as much as I do. Thanks so much for stopping by. Make sure you’re subscribed to the blog if you aren’t already and don’t forget to use code COYKOI10 to save 10% off of your next order.
Until next time,
