Hey friends! It’s Kira and I am back with another TN notebook layout. Today, I will be using the PSL stamp set.
I just love autumn. The colors, the weather, the clothes. Lol. So the PSL stamp set speaks to my autumn loving soul. I stamped out about a million of the leaves in a variety of colors, and spent about an hour fussy cutting them all out.
My original layout idea didn’t pan out, so I was left with about 996,000 leaves. I flipped through some older photos to try and find one that would suit the leaves. The one I chose is from February (I know, not technically autumn, but its about as close as we get to autumn in San Antonio).
I used some pattern paper, layered a strip of vellum on one edge, and then adhered the leaves down that edge. Since the leaves were attached to the paper and the vellum, I was able to stitch down the centers with my sewing machine.
As I was embellishing the page, I added a couple more leaves around the page. They make for the perfect layering piece.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
