HI!! Oh my! I’m so excited! This week the team is highlighting a stamp set I designed for Ink Road Stamps. EEKS! The set is called “Belated”. If you are anything like me, you may forget a birthday or two. Well this set is for you. Tell your friend or family member Happy Belated Birthday in a quirky way.
I created 4 coordinating cards using this stamp set. I honestly was going to make them more complicated, but then this simple design came to mind and when you are already late, simple is GREAT!
I started off by die cutting a square with a stitched edge from white cardstock. I stamped a different image in black on each card. I then took ink colors that coordinated with the paper line that I chose and stamped the sentiment in a different color on each card. SIMPLE right?!
To make them pop, I cut another rectangle from a coordinating (more solid) pattern paper. Something that looked good with the ink color.
And finally, after adhering the first 2 layers together, I popped these up on a pattern paper card base.
I LOVE how these turned out! I know they look simple, but you don’t always have to make cardmaking hard. Especially when you are already in a hurray or late with sometime. Take your time and create something simple.
I hope you love this stamp set!! If so, don’t forget to use my discount code at checkout for 10% off (LACEY10). This purchase and ALL Ink Road purchases.
Thanks for stopping by!
