Happy January Roadies! Its Samantha back with my first card for the new year!
Hoping everyone had a wonderful break – I personally had a lovely Christmas and New Year and though it was a little on the quiet side this year I managed to get a bit of me time and a good amount of craft time in! I’m rather happy that I don’t have to make anymore Christmas cards…so today I’m sharing a simple and elegant Wedding card using Bella Flora dies and Alpha Block Party Outline stamps.
Card instructions:
Step 1: Die cut the decorative Bella Flora flowers dies using white corrugated card stock. Alternatively you could use white cardstock with a bit of texture to it.
Step 2: Arrange and adhere them closely together on a 10.5 cm x 15.5 cm white card front. Trim off any excess flowers. Corner punch the top right corner.
Step 3: Add machine stitch details (optional).
Step 4: Using Block Party Alphas stamp the sentiment using watermark ink, apply a generous amount of gold embossing powder, and heat set. Fussy cut the letters and adhere these to the card front with foam tape.
Step 5: Adhere the card front to an A6 card base.
Step 6: Embellish the card with sequins and a white twine bow.
I love making wedding cards – I especially love a tone on tone colour scheme with touches of gold to it. While I was making this card the texture and the Bella Flora floral shapes reminded me of the lace you see on a beautiful wedding dress.
Happy Crafting!
Samantha.
