Last week I celebrated my birthday. I never thought at 38 (yes I am exposing my age), I would have a 3 1/2 month old baby, the ability to work from home, and be able to work a job I LOVE! Definitely feel very lucky. Today I’m sharing a layout using the Mari Party stamp set, as well as a few other favorites! Oh and SURPRISE, another project that I use a rainbow of colors.
For this layout I started with a white cardstock base. I adhered a strip of pattern paper at the bottom. Then I stamped the group of presents from the Mari Party stamp set above the pattern paper. I masked off some of the end presents so I could layer the stamp set to give it a little bit of a different look and make it look more cohesive across.
Originally I was going to color in these gifts, but loved how the black and white looked against the color pattern paper.
I placed my photos on the layout (without adhering them down) to figure out the placement of my title. I used “Birthday” from Mari Party, and “Girl” is the Block Party Alpha – Outline stamps.
The layout needed a little something EXTRA. So I stamped the balloon cluster from Mari Party on vellum in clear ink and embossed it with rose gold embossing powder.
For my title, I stamped this on in black ink.
I also stamped out a few hearts from Love Wins onto pattern paper. As well as the heart speech bubble from Ink Girl – ASA (March 2019).
Thank you for joining me today! I love how universal these stamps are. They can definitely be used beyond a card! Have a great rest of your week! Don’t forget to use LACEY10 at checkout for 10% off your Ink Road orders.
