The first thing I thought of when I saw Basics: Tiny Dot Clusters was that the little scoop images on the bottom left corner looked like upside down rainbows. So of course I had to flip them over and pair the image with Basics: Rainbow Builder!
I began by repeatedly stamping the cluster image from Basics: Tiny Dot Clusters using black ink on white cardstock for a bold background.
For the focal image I stamped the rainbow from Basics: Rainbow Builder. I used two colors of ink for each stripe for a blended look. I white heat embossed onto black paper the scripty Happy Birthday sentiment from INKED Girl: Lani. After this picture was taken I added glossy accents onto the rainbow stripes for a raised shiny effect.
When constructing this card the background was a bit too bold and the rainbow was hard to see. To fix this I added a rectangle piece of vellum to soften the center and help the rainbow stand out. I added a bold black border around the card, and popped the rainbow and sentiment up on foam for dimension.
