Bless this Beautiful Messy Soul – with Amanda

October 17, 2019

Hi friends!  Amanda here!  Today I’m sharing this #beautifulmess card with you!  This stamp set is just the CUTEST!  I had such a fun time putting this card together!  Keep scrolling to see how I made it and what colors I used!

I stamped the adorable wreath first and then centered it into a circle die.

I stamped my sentiment in the center using an “ombre” effect with some small ink pads.

I placed my wreath in the center (temporarily) and scattered my other stamps around.  I used my black ink pad to stamp the images.  I then cleaned them off and moved them around to be stamped again.

I cut a piece of white cardstock at a diagonal to put on the bottom of my card.  I blended some purple and pink distress inks and oxides to create a matching ombre effect to my sentiment.

I flecked some black ink onto my piece to create a “messy” look to go along with my beautiful messy soul!I used the sentiment “#beautifulmess” – placing it so that I won’t have to move it, but rather just move the paper to the left every time.  I did this so that it would be easier to keep a straight line.

Next, I colored all my images with Copic markers.

Wreath:  V15, 1V7, RV52, RV55, V04, V06, RV19, RV09, RV17, RV66

Paintbrush: T7, T6, T4, T2, RV09, RV19

Paintbrush 2: V04, V06, T2, T4, T6, T7

Thumbtacks: RV66, RV17 AND RV52, RV55

Scissors: V15, V17, T2, T4, T6, T7

(For all the other stamped images, I used the same combinations as above.)

I used double sided tape for my ombre bottom and 3D foam tape for my wreath circle.

For the finishing touches, I used one Keena Pink flat back bead and two Kim Purple beads.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Until next time!!

xoxo, Amanda
