Happy Thursday to all my crafty friends. Today I’m going to share a card that I created using a sketch from the Spieglemom Scraps and Ink Road Stamps – Sparkly Card Drive. If you want to join along, cards will be donated to a few charities.
Today’s card was inspired by the Sparkly Card Drive sketch for today.
When I saw this sketch I thought about the art supplies in the #Beautifulmess stamp set.
I stamped out the two brush images and the pen image on Neenah Solar White card stock, as I knew I wanted to color it in with Copic markers.
The colors I chose were rainbow colors.
I ended up only using one of each color, vs two shades because of the smaller images. Then I fussy cut the images from the paper with scissors.
I did end up stamping the scissor image. From the Lawn Fawn: Rainbow 6×6 paper pad, I chose a light pink stripe paper to layer above the art supplies. I laid out the images cut out with my sentiment to see how it would look.
I stamped the sentiment on a white piece of card stock with clear ink from Versamark and embossed it with WOW Metallic Platinum embossing powder.
To fit the art feel, I took out my t-ruler to draw a frame around my sentiment.
I trimmed the sentiment down and added it to my card. I also added a strip of Lawn Fawn Rainbow paper above the pink paper.
Next, I stamped the stitched zig zag line before popping this portion of the card onto another piece of Lawn Fawn Rainbow paper.
Tada!! There you have it. I’m in love with this card and all the rainbow goodness and art supplies. Have a lovely day and #createfreely.
