No secret here! Block Party Alphas are my absolute favourite Ink Road Stamp set. So…what better way to show them off then by creating a card inspired by word search puzzles. Here you’re only searching for the main sentiment – but you could very easily stamp several letters to create additional words for the person receiving their card to find. Personalise it for a specific occasions or add their name – just a few reasons why I love using this stamp set!
Here is my card:
When I was making this card I decided that I only wanted your eye to be drawn to the sentiment. So I used the Block Party Alphas Outline to highlight this area. The grid was created using Word then printed on white card stock. The stamping process was quite simple – I started with the sentiment and alternated ink colours (Altenew). I filled in the rest of the grid with random letters, though…you could at this point add more words keeping it true to a search word puzzle.
After I finished one card I came up with a few more sentiments and decided to create a few more.
Each card is matted to a colour coordinated card base and embellished with sequins. Later after the photos were taken (silly me!) I added some glitter (Wink of Stella – clear) to the sentiments.
The card below is another reason why I love this stamp set. Hashtag! This was created for a specific person in mind who uses this phrase a lot. So I love that I have this option so create whatever sentiment I want.
I hope you enjoyed my cards today and you’re inspired to give this ‘puzzle’ inspired card a try! Pick your favourite ink colours, choose a few words, create your own sentiments. You’ll fall in love with this stamp set too!
