Blooming Cards and matching Envelops with Angela

September 1, 2018

Hello everyone!

It’s Angela back with you today! I would like to show you a pair of monochromatic cards and matching envelops, in the shades of grey, using the Bloom Where You Are Planted stamp set .

This stamp set is very versatile and full of images to choose. For my first card, I picked up flowers and pots and I started arranging them at the bottom of the card and the the sentiment in the center above.

Below, it’s a close-up of the tiny hearts that I silver embossed, one of the pot and a few other inside of the embellished envelop.

As you may know, one card leads to another and so I had to try another version.  This time, I silver embossed the two strips of the sentiment on a separate piece of card-stock and adhered them on the card with foam tape, to give dimension. Moreover, I created a background on the card base, simply stamping flowers and leaves all over the white card-stock.

TIP: Creating a background could be tricky. I suggest you stamping the big flowers first; the smallest stamps should be used at the end, to fill in the white spaces left, like I did here with the stigmas, the three little circles stamp.

These are the two envelops that carry the cards. They are decorated in the inside for a WOW effect of the recipient. Aren’t they adorable 🙂

That’s all for today, I hope you liked my project and I really hope you will give it a try. Thanks so much for stopping by and I’ll see you soon!

Love,

NG
