I hope everyone is settling into this year. Just stopping in to share this card I made using the Shellfish stamp set.
This is a super simple card that I made by first smooshing two colours of ink onto an acetate sheet, spritzing it with water and pressing it onto white cardstock. I found I got the best results by doing one colour at a time, and building it up on my background until I was happy with the result. Dry well with your heat tool.
Once the background is completely dry, use a powder tool/anti-static pad to rub over the background and remove any ink. Line it up in your stamp platform, and add the sentiment stamp and shelf of books. Ink up the stamps with black pigment ink and stamp until you have good coverage. Sprinkle clear embossing powder and heat emboss to add some shine.
To finish off the card, attach the background onto a piece of black cardstock and then onto your card base. Add some gems for some added sparkle, to complete the card.
