Hey Roadies! Happy Friday Eve, who’s excited for Valentine’s Day this weekend? Today I share not one but two final love day cards with you using Modern Romance.
First, I stamped an image of Lucy from Lucy-Happy Mail, color, cut then set aside. Next I took “Happy Valentine’s Day” from Modern Romance and aligned it in my stamping platform. I started with red where I wanted it, half way down the white A2 panel. Then stamped repeatedly in black a few more times to create a mini background. Adhered onto a beautiful deep red base to help the red sentiment pop, followed by Lucy on some foam tape and finished with lips from Modern Romance to give it a “Lucy kissed this” look.
The second, I stamped Bun Intended, color, cut then set aside. For the inked square, I used a stencil, however, you can use masking or washi tape to create a square. Blended some red, pinks and a few flicks of water and it turned out so pretty. I adhered my image flat and added “Happy Galentines Day” from Modern Romance and a few red hearts included in the Bun Intended set. Felt like it need something more so I added a strip of gold washi tape to complete my card before gluing onto a pink base.
