It’s Simone here with you all today, with a fun set of shaker cards I created using the sweet Call Me, Maybe stamp set.
To create the two cards in this set I first started by cutting two panels of cardstock the same size as my card base, which I stamped both the image and sentiment onto. Next using my Silhouette Cameo machine and Pixscan mat, I offset and cut out the images from both panels leaving me with a window. I then placed the panels over my card bases as a guide, and lightly traced around where the images were cut from, so that I knew where to stamp the images again onto the card bases.
After stamping the images onto my card bases I then stuck some acetate to the back of the panels together with some adhesive foam, before filling them with some sequins and rhinestone hearts. Once I had enough shaker elements inside the window areas, I then stuck the card bases down onto the panels.
To finish off the cards, I added a couple more rhinestone hearts to the front, together with some red adhesive rhinestone gems. I love making shaker cards and I hope this has inspired you to create some this week!
Thanks for stopping by the Ink Road blog today. See you all again soon :)[/vc_column_text][vc_media_grid element_width=”6″ gap=”10″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1503108381189-3c443406-cc40-6″ include=”28880,28882″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
