Hi, Monica here sharing a fun way to stretch your stamps. Let’s take a look at the entire card.
Cat balloons! This was such a fun card to make. Let’s get right in to how I put the card together.
I stamped the cats from the Meow Mix stamp set from The Ink Road Stamps with some Memento Tuxedo black ink, cut them out and gave them a little color with some Copic markers. I added some twine to each cat to turn it into a balloon.
The fun patterned paper is from the Pink Paislee Birthday Bash 6×6 paper pad. I used the Dots & Dashes Rectangle die from Kennedy Grace Creations to die cut the patterned paper. That adorable Box Die is from Neat & Tangled and simply cut from some kraft cardstock.
I used the Scattered Surface background stamp from My Favorite Things and some Sea Glass ink from Simon Says Stamp to give the card front some added interest. I used different layers of foam tape to give the balloons some dimension, tied the twine together and adhered it inside the box with some Ranger Multi Medium Matte adhesive. The sentiment is from the Compliments, Vol. 1 stamp set from The Ink Road. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto some black cardstock, popped it up with foam tape and called it a day. Thank you so much for stopping by The Ink Road Blog today, seen you soon!
