I created my first Christmas card of the year! I combined tons of different Ink Road products, so keep on reading for the break down! (Warning: There are some advent calendar spoilers in this post.)
I started by stamping this cute girl image from the advent calendar (Day 4) onto bristol smooth cardstock. I colored her using Arteza real brush pens, and added metallic gold accents using Gansai Tambi starry watercolors.
I fussy cut the image, and added a Merry Christmas sentiment banner also from the advent calendar (Day 7). I colored the banner with Arteza brush pens to coordinate with her outfit.
Now onto the backgrounds! I stamped Subway Art: Christmas onto a cream cardstock using green pigment ink. I trimmed a bit of of each side so it is slightly thinner than the card base.
For the focal point background, and the edges of the card base, I die cut the flower from Basics: Flower 2 many times. I love the white on white textured look!
Using foam tape for dimension, I adhered the advent girl to the center background.
After combining all of the card elements together, here is the final look!
Here you can see the dimension and gorgeous metallic gold shine!
For the inside of the card I stamped the flower from Basics: Flower 2 in maroon ink, then layered 2 strips of washi on top.
