As Christmas is quickly approaching, I’m here to share a fun card with you, which perfectly summarises Christmas for me.
First of all, I took a piece of white cardstock and lined it up in my stamp press. I then stamped the Subway Art: Holiday stamp in clear embossing ink, and sprinkled white embossing powder all over. Tap off the excess powder and heat set.
After that, I subtly ink blended pink ink all over the background, working your way lighter as you blend down the page. Take a dry paper towel and rub off any excess ink from the embossed areas, and return them to bright white. While you have your ink out, also completely cover a piece of white cardstock which you will use behind the sentiment strip.
Once the background was complete, I stamped my INKED Girl onto some Copic blending card and coloured her with my Copic markers. Fussy cut the image out and foam mount onto the background.
Stamp the sentiment from Typewriter Christmas onto white cardstock and foam mount onto the pink strip, and then onto the background.
Time to put the card together! Attach the background onto a piece of black cardstock and then onto your card base. Add some gems for some added sparkle, to complete the card.
I hope you enjoyed this fun card!
