Today I’m sharing a Christmas shaker card using a variety of Ink Road Stamp products. I’m not ready for winter (even though snow is near for us here in Northern Minnesota). But when I saw this new stamp set by Ink Road, Christmas came to mind.
Let’s get started! I stamped the presents from Mari Party on a piece of Neenah solar white paper. With Copic markers I colored in the presents. Using a white gel pen, I added highlights, as well as filled in some of the areas on the present, like the polk-a-dots.
Next, I laid out my card pieces. Using a circle die, I placed the fussy cut presents and the stamp I was going to use on a piece of pattern paper. I then cut out the circle from the pattern paper, to start the creation of my shaker.
To the backside of the pattern paper I added adhesive to attach the clear window. I also stamped my greeting onto coordinating pattern paper.
Then I covered the back with foam adhesive, which I doubled up for more dimension and to allow the shaker bits to more around more freely.
I inserted sequins onto the clear window and added the back stamped image to the window section.
Now it was time to attached the stack of presents. I popped up these presents with foam adhesive and adhered to the lower portion of the circle. Finally, I heat embossed using white embossing powder a greeting on black card stock and adhered to the lower portion of the card.
The final set was to add a greeting to the inside. I used the Happy Holla Days set to finish this card off.
