Angela back with you today with a quick and easy card idea using Mug Life stamp and an unusual add-on ;P
You should know that I keep a bowl with coffee beans in the kitchen. I love the smell of coffee and its heady scent in the room. While I was playing with my Mug Life stamps, waiting for a new idea to comes to my mind, I started doodling with a coffee bean. Out of the blue, I had this crazy idea!!!
Drawing on a coffee bean is not easy, the space is small and the surface uneven. With a bit of patience and a white gel pen, I was able to draw these fun faces.
The idea developed in some cards. I made some very clean and simple, with just the coffe bean man and the sentiment.
Here are some other cards a little bit more elaborate and embellished but with the same basic idea to keep the coffee been man the undisputed protagonist of the card.
Here, I tried to imitate the emoji faces and I added two little stars in place of the eyes.
The sentiments on the card are heat embossed with white embossing powder and placed at the bottom of the cards. I think the empty space in this case, helps to make both the sentiment and the coffee bean stand out.
Here is one more example of emoji coffee bean card, using two little red hearts.
Just a hint of color is sufficient to make the card cheerful.
I tried to match the sentiments to the tipe of emojis and I admit, I had so much fun in making these cards!!!
Here they are, all the cards together, happy and fun!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked my cards and had fun with them. See you soon with another inspiration!
