To create the background for these cards, I first took a piece of white cardstock (3 ¾” x 5 ¼”) and a piece of acetate/plastic packaging. On the acetate, I pressed 3 colours of ink in a row, and spritzed them with water. After that, I turned the sheet over and pressed onto the cardstock, and dragged slightly downwards to spread the colour more. Mop up any excess colour with a paper towel. Dry well with a heat tool. This step can be repeated until you are happy with your background.
Once completely dry, take a sentiment from Compliments Volume 2 and align in a stamp positioner. Ink up the stamp with black ink and stamp at the bottom of your card. Heat emboss with clear embossing powder to add a little more shine.
After that, I stamped Bun Intended 2 and Bun Intended 3 on Copic blending card, and coloured the images with my Copic markers. Once coloured, I fussy cut the girls and foam mounted them on the front of the cards.
Adhere your card front onto a piece of black cardstock, and then onto the card base. To finish the cards, position a few clear sequins and glue down in random places.
