Hello, hello! Samantha Ziegenfuss here with a brand spanking new card to share with you. One of the many things I love about Ink Road Stamps is how amazing they look on so many different types of projects. From school binders to scrapbook layouts to cards and everything in between I am convinced that there is nothing Ink Road Stamps can’t improve.
One thing that I had not yet tried was stamping on patterned paper but as with everything else it sure does look good.
To begin I adhered a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of patterned paper to a black A2 side folding card. I then stamped a sentiment from the Compliments Volume 2 stamp set to a piece of patterned paper measuring 4.25″ x 3″ using black pigment ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder. I matted the stamped paper to a piece of black cardstock measuring 4.5″ x 3.25″.
Then I cut a piece of craft foam to 4″ x 2.75″ and glued it to the back of my stamped and matted panel.
I attached the entire thing to my card front, added a few sequins, and called it good. I liked this design so much that I decided to create a card for each of the six sentiments in this stamp set.
