Hey Roadies! I’m back again with another Holly Pixels Art Supplies Background card!
I’m going to start off by stamping my gorgeous Holly Pixels Art Supplies Background stamp with black ink.
I cut it down to 3.75″x5″ and then colored in the white space with R00 and R11 Copic markers.I cut down a piece of black cardstock to 4″x5.25″ and a white piece to 4.25″x5.5″. So, now I’m using double sided tape to adhere the pieces together.
I’m stamping this pretty little heart from #beautifulmess.
I am coloring it in with my Copic markers: Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11, R32, R21, R11, and R00. I’m using my detail scissors to cut it out.
I used a punch to create a circle piece of vellum. I am using 3D foam squares to attach my heart to the vellum. To attach the vellum to the card front, I’m going to use 2 foam squares one on top of the other. This will create more depth between the vellum and the background image, which will create a more blurred effect. I’m leaving room for some yellow twine between the foam squares. For the twine, I’m using a piece of tape to hold it in place on the back of the card front.
Now, I’m adding some Crystal Sunshine half gems with a glue pen.
And finally, I’m going to add a few touches of yellow with my Y13 marker around the card front.
And that’s it! All done!
I hope you enjoyed this post!
