Angela back on the blog with a new fun and colorful card featuring Mug Life stamp set. Today, I went for a shaker card with some special details. The shaking confetti of the card are tiny mugs made with Mug Life stamp!
To make them, I used a sheet of shrink plastic. It is a fun product for crafters and it is perfect to use with stamps. You must know that there are several types of shrink plastics. I used the sand one that can be colored. So, I first stamped some mugs on the sheet of shrink plastic using Stazon ink and then I colored them with pastels. I fussy cut the mug images with a pair of scissors and last, I shrank it with my embossing tool for about 1 to 2 minutes, depending on the tool power.
The card sentiment is always from Mug Life set. I stamped it on banner and added a coffee cup charm I made always with shrink plastic. Isn’t it cute?
To create the window of the shaker I used Lacey’s DIY Window Dies, the one with the stitched edge. I placed inside the window the mini mugs plus some Lynnea Rainbow gems and some Gina Clear Bubble for extra fun and noise ;P
Here are a few extra coffee mugs charms I made. I had so much fun creating this card. I hope you enjoyed the project too and hopefully give it a try! Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
