I hope you are all well and safe in your little corner of the world. It’s Angela here and today I would like to share with you some new cards and a fun DIY idea using our beloved Ink Road stamps for Mother’s Day.
Here is a gift box, ready to be delivered. Instead of a card, I attached a tag I created using an old Ink Road stamp. I roughly stamped Happy Mother’s Day using black ink and I added a second mini tag in black with a second sentiment from Spork stamp.
The fun thing about this box is that I made the wrapping paper myself, recycling a piece of packaging paper. I used Bella Flora stamps to embellish it, stamping all over the surface, using black ink. It turned out pretty, right?
Following the same design, I created a couple of Mother’s Day cards.
The first card is made using the same stamps as before, Happy Mother’s Day stamp for the background and Spork stamp for the sentiment. I just added a few Shikira gold gems for giving a touch of brightness.
The second card is the same version but in color. I stamped the Happy Mother’s Day using distress inks with a spritz of water on top, so to have a watercolor effect. The sentiment Oh, Baby! is always from Spork stamp. I added a few Lynnea Rainbow gems and voilà.
With next couple of cards, I completely changed style, clean and simple for these two baby cards.
Again, I used Spork stamp on both of them. For the baby girl card, I used a soft pink patterned paper. I stamped the little baby with pink ink and the sentiments in black.
I did the same on the baby boy card, changing color to light blue and using a different sentiment.
That’s all for today, my friends. I hope you liked the ideas I shared with you and feel inspired to create with us. Let me wish you happy mother’s day and please take care and stay safe <3
