Eggcouraging

May 6, 2020

Well I don’t know about you, but being cooped up for weeks one needs a little extra encouragement. Today I have a rainbow of cards to share with you using the Eggstra stamp set with the Semicolon stamp set. So, let’s get started.

I began by cutting cardstock in a rainbow color palette. These are actual size of these cards are an 4Bar Card (4 7/8″ x 3.5″ folded).

Next using the Eggstra stamp set, I stamped the large hollow egg on pattern paper. I choose a rainbow of colors that would match with my card stock.

At this point I knew I was creating encouragement cards with the Semicolon stamp set, so I wanted to “crack” the eggs. With a pair of scissors I cut each egg in a jagged way. Creating two halves.

With a black marker, I went around the NEW jagged edge to make it look like the stamp was created this way.

I just love how these stamps can be adapted for other things and not just used for spring or Easter. Is there a season stamp set in your stash that you could use for another purpose?

Thanks for joining me today. I really feel like we all need to reach out and encourage each other. Connect with someone today! Send a card, shoot over a text message or even give someone a call.
