Hello Roadies! Hard to believe Christmas is almost here! Where the heck did the year go?! I have some heat embossed holiday cards to share with you today. I made these using some ink blending and triple heat embossing.
Start by choosing your colored card stock. You can also use white card stock but starting with a light colored card stock of the color you choose saves time on your ink blending. 😉
Start by ink blending from the outside edge inward, creating a spot light effect in the center. I did this to both pieces of card stock then let it dry completely.
Once the ink blending was dry, I prepped the entire card panel using anti-static powder and stamped some sentiments from the Holiday Sentiments set on each panel using clear embossing ink. I heat embossed the sentiments then stamped some snow flakes and embossed with different color embossing powders.
On top of using different color embossing powders for the snow flakes, I also stamped some using light colored inks to match each panel. I love the dimension and layered look this gives.
I adhered both panels onto white A2 sized card bases and called them done. I love the way these turned out. They sort of have a clean and simple vibe to them but also look super fancy! Thanks for stopping by Roadies! Please tag me @theangelscardco if you decide to try this technique! Happy Holidays! -Lorena
