This set of 4-bar cards started out as skintone coloring practice. I stamped this image from Girl Power onto bristol smooth with versafine onyx black then clear heat embossed on top. I stamped extras so I could get more practice. I colored using Arteza real brush pens and blended with water on a paint brush.
I ended up being happy with all of my practice pieces of skin tone combos, so I decided to make 5 cards. I finished up the focal images with more Arteza real brush pen coloring, then fussy cut each one out.
Now for their backgrounds! I took color inspiration from the original “We can do it!” poster. I stamped Daisie Background using tan ink onto yellow cardstock cut slightly smaller than 4-bar card size.
To finish off the cards I used a sentiment from Empower, also stamped in versafine onyx black and clear heat embossed. I love this message! Scroll down to see an up close of each card in this set.
Whew! You make it through all the cards! I encourage you to practice our skin tone coloring, and explore combos you haven’t before.
Thank you for joining me on the blog today! Becca
