Hello everyone! I’m back with a special layout using the Block Party Outline stamp set. I wanted a layout about my daughter that describes all of the things I love about her. What better way then to put into words all of her special qualities?
This was a very simple but time consuming layout. I used a piece of white 12×12 cardstock and Charcoal Hero Arts ink. I just went to town stamping with the Block Party Outline stamps! I used a second piece of paper as my straight edge to line up the words and also to stamp off the extra ink. I used a heart stamp from the Full Circle stamp set to separate the words. It took me about 2 hours to finish the whole piece of paper. I’m not going to lie, I did have to look up descriptive words about halfway through the stamping because I was running out of ideas! But they are all the perfect words to describe Evie!
After the outline stamping was done, I decided to highlight all of the words that had Love in them. I used the Block Party Alpha stamps and different colors of Distress Oxide inks to do this. Of course some of it ends up covered up but I think you can still tell what it says.
Then I added my photos to the lower left corner. I tried to not cover as many words as possible so this was the best place to put the photos. I added a ton of embellishments because it was the perfect time to get some things used up. To finish it I used for of the Denise Pink Flat Back Gems. It added just the right amount of sparkle! I absolutely think this layout screams Evie!
Thank you for visiting! Have a crafty day!
