Hello! Samantha here sharing a Merry Christmas Fir Real Christmas tree card!!! Every year I attempt to make a Christmas tree card using Ink Road Stamps. A few times I’ve been quite creative – one year I used Full Circle and last year I made a floral tree using Ink Road Stamps Bloom Where You Are Planted. This year I decided to use the Fir Real cut file and stamp set. If you didn’t know there were cut files you do now!
Once you’ve downloaded your Ink Road Stamps cut file you can literally drag the file into your Silhouette program. I love the trace feature and use it quite a lot – tracing the image will allow you to cut out the tree. Once its been traced you can resize it to what ever size you wish! (BIGGER the BETTER!) I used my silhouette to cut out the tree four times. Once on green cardstock and the other three times using pattern paper. After it was all cut I paper pieced them onto a card front. Mixing the pattern paper as shown. I added machine stitching, sequins and a twine bow. I then stamped the sentiment ‘Merry Christmas’ from Fir Real stamp set.
You will have left over cut out pattern paper – with this I made additional cards.
