Welcome! It’s Samantha and today I’m sharing a creative idea I had creating with the Ink Road Stamp set: Fir Real. I’ve recently been creating a lot of ‘Sun’ themed projects…maybe because it’s the middle of Winter here in Australia and I’m craving the sun a little! But it was inspiring enough for me to come up with a fun idea to turn those little Christmas trees into sunshine rays.
Step 1: Using a variety of yellow ink colours, stamp the trees and fussy cut them out.
Note: You don’t need to worry about the bottoms of the trees as these will not be shown once the card is assembled.
Step 2: Die cut a large circle. Stamp the sentiment in the center. Use a small heart punch to the bottom right of the sentiment. Adhere gold glitter card to the back.
Step 3: Adhere the trees to your white card font. Add machine stitched details
Step 4: Using foam tape adhere the circle.
Step 5: Embellish with sequins and enamel dots. Finish off with a twine bow. Matte card front to card base (5 inches x 7 inches).
I love it when I can make the most of my stamp sets especially ones designed for Christmas themed cards! Can you think of other ways to use Fir Real? I also see a flower…can you?
