Friday Feature – MAJESTIC AF

October 27, 2017

Hello and welcome once again to the Ink Road blog! Today is another Friday Feature and our talented team will share with you some projects using the Majestic AF stamp set to inspire you with different ways to use it.

Let’s take a look.

Majestic AF is one of my most favorite stamp sets! I adore those glamorous unicorns and all of the starry shapes. I really wanted to showcase the whimsy of this set. I decided a “magical” window would be a great way to do this. The idea was the window opens into a dream world filled with happiness, showcasing a family photo and of course, unicorns! One thing I really wanted was for the unicorns to be facing the center of the page. So I used vellum on the windows, one unicorn is stamped to the background and one is stamped on the vellum to get a “mirror” image!

I try not to play favourites with our stamp sets but this one is at the top of my list and perfect for sending “you got this” cards. I chose fun colors for the unicorn’s mane using alcohol markers and OF course I had to add diamond stickles for a little glam factor. The comeback is ALWAYS stronger than the setback, but sometimes we need to send a card as a reminder.

As soon as I saw the “Magestic AF” stamp set I knew I wanted to create a cut file from one of the unicorns.  I could just see this magestic unicorn full of beautiful colors.  I chose several papers from my scraps bin including some from the new Maggie Holmes “Carousel” collection as well as Paige Evans’ “Oh My Heart” collection.  There’s nothing more magestic than a unicorn who sparkles so I decided to take some of the starburst stamps and gold glitter emboss them around the page to make it really sparkle and shine.  This was a super fun and girly layout to do!

I have also included the cut file here for free so you don’t have to do the work!

To watch the full process go here.
