Its Ashleigh back on the blog today with a fun set of fruity cards, which are super simple to make! For these cards, the only stamp set I used was This Stamp is Bananas. Let’s get started!
I used the same technique for all of these cards. Take a piece of white cardstock and line up your stamps in a stamp positioner. Stamp the images with black pigment ink – I used Versafine Onyx Black ink. Repeat stamp until you end up with a black, evenly covered image. Heat emboss with clear embossing powder for more shine.
Once cooled, take one colour of ink and smoosh it onto a piece of clear plastic or acetate. Spritz it with water and turn over and press onto the background image. Repeat until you are happy with the background. Dry well with a heat tool.
Adhere the background piece onto a piece of black cardstock, and then onto your base card. Finish off the card by adding some Gina Clear Bubbles.
Repeat these steps for each of the stamps and mix and match the sentiments and colour combinations. I hope you have enjoyed this set of cards – Make sure you share what you create in the Roadies Facebook group! I would love to see them.
