Card #1 began with a piece of white card stock and I matted it with a slightly larger piece of red card stock. Using my Gansi Tambi watercolors, I created a green brush marked background and when it was dry, heat embossed 3 of the trees from the new Fir Real Stamp set, using ultra-fine white embossing powder and a Versa-Mark ink pad. On a separate piece of the same white card stock, I used the “Merry Christmas” sentiment from the same stamp set with Versa-Marks and red glitter embossing powder to create my embossed sentiment. I trimmed this piece down and notched little fish tails on each end. I adhered my sentiment lower on the front and then added a strip of red ribbon and little bow to create a bit of seperation. Some gold splatters and the wonderful sequins that are included in each of your orders from the shop finished the front of this card. Using a horizontal top folding card base, I adhered the whole panel and that was the end of the first card I created.
With card #2, I went with the same concept, but simplified it by eliminating the layering and ribbon. Using the same green watercolors, I again created the brush stroked background, white heat embossed trees from Fir Real, and ribbon notched sentiment. This time I white heat embossed some of the small snowflakes from the Happy Holla Days set around the trees. A few more of those gorgeous sequins finished off this card, which I created right on the front of my card base.
Card #3 went in a completely different direction. Starting with a 3.75×5 piece of white card stock, I dry embossed snowflakes using an embossing folder and texture boutique. I next chose a tree from the Fir Real set and heat embossed it onto the lower right corner of my dry embossed piece, using a pearlescent green embossing powder and versa-mark ink. Then, I heat embossed some snowflakes from the Happy Holla Days stamp set and embossed them with some gold and sparkle powders. This was matted with a piece of tree green card stock and then adhered to my A2 size side folding card.
I LOVED creating these different cards with the same products and hope you were inspired to grab these stamp sets and get creating some holiday cards of you own. Thanks so much for stopping by today!! XO Lisa
