Hello friends! Heather here today sharing a super fun technique on a 12×12 layout. I created a fun stenciled background with some stamps and oxide inks. I am featuring Chin up Butter cup, Block Party Alpha and Bloom where you are planted stamps sets.
First I cut out a huge heart on my cricut. Next I used that heart as a stencil, and blended my oxide inks. Then I took my stamps and stamped all over the heart.
When I pulled the stencil up I could believe that my idea worked so well! I love the way it looks, such crisp edges!
Then I started working on building my layout! I really didn’t want to add too much to it since the heart makes such a big impact! So I stamped out some flowers and fussy cut them out and then used them as some little embellishments.
