Hello! Samantha here, and this month I’m using Ink Road Stamps and making them interactive! That’s right…this month it’s all about lights and sliders and fun ways to create projects that are simply just fun to make and to receive.
Here is my card:
Card Instructions:
Step 1: Using the Boymom cut file, use your silhouette (electronic cutting machine) to cut out the image from different coloured card stock.
Step 2: Stamp the Boymom images and adhere these in a grid formation on to a white card front measuring 12.5cm x 17.5cm.
Step 3: Before adhering the ‘boymom’ image you wish to light up, punch two small holes as shown. Use this cut out image to then mark the card front, hole punch the marks on the card front. Next adhere the cut out in place and (in pencil) mark the card base for LED light placement.
Step 4: Stamp the sentiment using black ink.
Step 5: Complete the LED light placement and circuit on your card base. Below is a sketched out example of the circuit.
Step 6: Once the circuit is complete and has been tested, place and adhere your card front onto your card base.
(Optional) Add machine stitching
Step 7: Embellish with enamel dots and a twine bow.
Here it is all lit up!
Happy Crafting!
Samantha
