Kimberly Wiener with you today! Another show of pages for Traveler’s Journals or Traveler’s Notebooks. This long slim profile really appeals to me. I love some of the designer refil and gorgeous book cover pages out there and have re-created a few of my own using several Ink Road stamps. I was mostly inspired by Prima and their “Jet Black” series.
First of all, let me say I ADORE the Hello Gorgeous stamp set, as well as the “hello” stamp from the Bella Flora, set. The Hello embossed in gold reapeated at an angle, Yummmmmy, and so very GLAM!
Using the Hello Gorgeous floral cluster, I inked it in gold ink and added small filler stamps from the Bloom Where you are Planted stamp set. Color was added with my KOI water color brush pens.
Adding the kraft frame outlining the “Grow and Bloom” stamp is a similar look to a designer mini book cover that I fell in love with, and this is even better! I made it myself and it has the same sweet look as a designer traveler book. I can also make several variations to fit any colors I want to incorporate.
