Gold at the End of the Rainbow with Natalie

March 16, 2019

Are you feeling lucky this weekend?! Natalie here with a St. Patrick’s themed layout to get you in the mood for some Irish fun tomorrow.

I used my shine pigments to create a rainbow background for these St. Patrick photos of my boys, then I chose a different tiny IRS stamp for each color and stamped them multiple times within the colored areas.

For some of the tiny stamps I would stamp immediately after inking the stamp, and for others, I would stamp the offset 2nd found of ink and even the 3rd round too to get varying depths of the design within each colored area.

I used the umbrella from Stars Hollow, asterisk from #beautifulmess, bow from Thank You,  rose from Bun Intended 2, heart from Bun Intended and Hexagon from Chin Up Buttercup.

How cute is this little rainbow from the Love Wins stamp set!? I embroidered it in the traditional rainbow colors to go with this thematic St. Patty’s day page, then cut it out as as medallion.

The “Stay Golden” sentiment from the new Golden Friends set was so perfect for the gold at the end (or middle) of my rainbow! I embossed it in some WOW glitter embossing powder and it showed up quite well.

Have I mentioned it’s like I live in a Frat House? HAHA! These photos of my little party boys still crack me up.

Don’t be afraid to grab the teeny tiny stamps off your sets to create a BIG element on your layouts!
