Gorgeous Bella Flora Dies

February 15, 2019

Hello, again! It’s Ashlea and I’m back today with something SHINY! I created this card using the Bella Flora dies and it was super simple and turned out beautifully!

I started by ink blending Flirty Fuchsia Ink by Catherine Pooler onto a piece of white card stock. I blended in an ombre pattern making sure that the most saturation was at the bottom of my card stock. I then blended upward, paying close attention to the amount of ink I was dragging up with me. I used a very light hand and was sure to not over blend on the lighter areas.

I used one of the Bella Flora dies on a piece of gold metallic card stock and then once again on a piece of craft foam and adhered them together with glue to give some substance and dimension to the die cut. Before I adhered the die cut to my card front, I ran the ink blended card stock through my die cutting machine with an Altenew cover plate die that adds dimension and interest in a very understated way. I then trimmed it to 4″x5 1/4″ and adhered my metallic die cut to the top center of the card front.

For my sentiment, I used #GORGEOUS from the Compliments Volume 2 set and heat embossed that in white on a piece of black card stock. I adhered it directly over my floral die cut with glue and then adhered it all to an A2 sized card back using foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope that you’ve enjoyed learning a bit about how I created this card. Be sure to tag #inkroadstamps in your photos on Instagram so that I can “ooohhh” and “ahhh” over all of your #GORGEOUS creations! See you soon!
