Hi friends!
Angela back on the Ink Road Stamps blog with another inspiration featuring Days_e Phrases stamp! I have a couple of fun cards to show you using the negative and the positive of a die.
The first card I am showing you has a few little shaker windows in the open spots of the word Gorgeous. I used a white piece of card-stock and I cut in the center the word Gorgeous, using Hello Gorgeous dies. I adhered a piece of acetate underneath and I stamped the big phrases of Days_e Phrases stamp at the top and bottom of the card.
I die cut another word Gorgeous from a piece of card-stock I previously colored with alcohol inks and I adhered it on the acetate of the card, in the corresponding spot.
To make the shaker, I used some foam tape to obtain some depth and filled in with light blue sequins. As a final touch, I added two pieces of Bella Flora foil stickers in the corner and voilà, the first card was done!
The second card is the opposite of the first. I mean, the background is the colored card-stock I use to cut out the word Gorgeous and the Gorgeous is the cut-out of the previous card base. I hope this make sense 🙂
To embellish and make the card sparkle, I added two stripes of Bella Flora Border foil stickers and printed on top the sentiment. Just a few sequins here and there and in no time, this second card was completed too!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you liked my cards and the idea behind them. Give it a try and let me know what you think. See you soon with a new inspiration.
Love,
NG
