Hello, hello! Samantha Ziegenfuss here with a mildly snarky card for you today that I created using one of my most beloved stamp sets from Ink Road Stamps; the Block Party Alpha Outlines.
I love the alpha stamps because they’re extremely versatile and they give me the perfect opportunity to say whatever it is that I need or want to say.
This card is a little bit complicated so let me tell you how I made it.
I began with a piece of watercolor paper that measured 4.25″ x 3″. I stamped “Hahaha No” using the Block Party Alpha Outline set in the center of it, heat setting my black pigment ink with clear embossing powder.
Next I applied a small amount of tape using a tape runner to the back of the panel and adhered it temporarily to a black A2 sized card.
I used black pigment ink to stamp one of the floral clusters from Bella Flora to my watercolor and black card. I removed the watercolor panel and heat set that ink with clear embossing powder and heat set the ink on the black card with gold embossing powder.
I did this in the lower left and upper right corners of the card.
Next I used watercolors to swipe a fun burst of color onto the watercolor paper. When it was dry I added a spritz of gold paint droplets.
I adhered the watercolor panel to my black card, centering it so that everything lined up.
