Hi everyone It’s Angela here sharing with you the tags I’ve created using the Are You Serious Clark? stamp set. I’ve prepared a bunch of them to be used for my christmas presents to my family.
These are tags that I folded in half. Outside there is the sentiment and the inside is where I’ll write the name of the recipient of the gift. To create them I proceeded cutting stripes of smooth cardstock 8 inches long and 4 inches wide. I scored at 4″ and 4″ 1/4 to create the flap, then glued the top and punched the hole.
I tried a few color combinations using glittered embossing powder for the car and glossy embossing powder for the sentiment. I also made two versions using white and black cardstock. For the colors I chose green, red and gold, the typical Christmas colors and I admit that I love them in all the combinations.
The stamp I used is one single piece but I wanted to stamp it in two colors. I used Versamark ink to stamp and covered first one part with the darkest powder then the other part of the stamp with the lighter one. I proceeded like this because I didn’t want to ruin the stamping heating it twice.
Tip: You can also stamp with colored inks and use a transparent embossing powder to obtain the two-colors effect!
That’s all for today, thank you very much for stopping by and see you soon.
Love,
NG
