I used the same technique for each of these cards, and I really made use of the tiny images that come with this stamp set. So lets get started!
Firstly, take a piece of white cardstock and randomly stamp one of your small images with embossing ink. I heat embossed mine with white embossing powder. Play around with the placement of your images. For the first card, I focussed my repeat stamping of the envelope across the middle of the card.
Once heat set and cooled, it’s time to add some colour! Choose two colours of dye based water reactive inks and smoosh them on plastic or a slick surface. Spritz the ink with water. Turn over the plastic and press onto the background, across the embossed area. Repeat until you are happy with the background, ensuring you dry the layers in between. You can also mop up any excess ink with a paper towel. Once completely dry, remove any ink that is on the embossed areas with a paper towel.
Colour in your adorable images with the colouring medium of your choice. I used Copic markers to colour mine. Adhere to the centre of your card with foam mounting tape.
To finish off the card, heat emboss the sentiment from Modern Romance with black embossing powder. If you choose, blend some ink onto a piece of white cardstock to add an extra pop of colour. Some sequins to add a little texture and sparkle, and the card is complete!
For the other two cards, repeat the same process but play around a little more with the placement of your tiny images. You can create shapes like I did with the purple card, or perhaps the all over stamping like in the pink card is more your style!
