Hey Roadies! Angela back on the blog to share with you a few cards I made for Valentine’s day using the fun Modern Romance stamp set.
To create the cards, I played with the envelop stamps included in Modern Romance set. I stamped a bunch of envelops in four different colors, from pink to burgundi, on a piece of white card-stock. I fussy cut each one and adhered them on the card base using foam tape.
I chose a humorous sentiment from the set and stamped it in black. Below it, I added the XOs embossed in gold, just to add a bit of sparkle.
Last, I added a red envelop in the center of the card, below the sentiment. I finished the card adhering the white base on a red card-stock.
Following the same design, I created also a set of colored cards. This time, I stamped the envelops directly on the card-stock, using white embossing powder. I stamped the envelops one by one, without using any stamping tool, so they aren’t perfectly aligned. That doesn’t bore me, rather underlines they are handmade!
Here, I played with the sentiments and the colors of the cards. Two of them say Happy Valentines, while the pink one says Happy Galentine’s Day. To finish of the cards, I added a few pearls in the matching colors: Ant Max Red gems for the red card, Hannah Mint Beads for the blue and Mari Pink Beads for the pink one.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you liked my Valentines card and feel inspired to create yours with Modern Romance stamp!
