I believe it is never too late to showcase lovely scenery and your memories. Traveller’s notebook pages for a day spent at Allerton Gardens on Kauai. I may not scrapbook or make mini albums like I used to, however, I really am enjoying that I have taken up Traveller Notebook size memory keeping. Most of my pages could be a seemless single page, however I love the slim notebook look. I finally selected a notebook cover and it will come in a few weeks. It is masculine, though I really connected to it when I saw it. I CAN’T WAIT till it arrives!!!!!
The ultra large HELLO GORGEOUS dies from Ink Road really say it all. My scenery was lovely that day and as I smiled, I too felt pretty gorgeous as the sun shone down on me, not to mention that I was with my guy as he took my photo.
I ripped yellow cardstock for a tattered and jagged look to poke out from my very straight edges photo line. We took a tram to the gardens and there were hanging vines overgrown plants everywhere. I wanted the same feel as draping jungle leaves and vines, so I made them by using one of the stamps in the Bloom Where You are Planted Stamp Set. I like the clean look so I did keep it light but added some interest with doodling and splatter.
The sentiment under my photo is “Keep On Dreaming” from the full circle stamp set.
